Meeting Minutes

Cory Withers, Henry Jorde, Chelsey Honcharoff

Other People Present
Johnathan McClure, Billy Luetzen, Jason Gagnon, Shawn Dodd, Fred Krein, Aldebaran Fairey, Ashley Berg, Leslie Ziegler, Kathy Olp, Crystal B. (?)

Cory called the meeting to order at 4:05 pm on August 8, 2002.
He introduced the Board of Directors:
Cory Withers as President
Henry Jorde as Vice President
Chelsey Honcharoff as Secretary
Cory then went on to introduce NYRA, explained some of our objectives (listed below), and told everyone that in order to be and official member, you had to register for the national branch, which was a fee of $10.

Our objectives:

• Lowering the voting age, which will take 25,000 signatures to amend the constitution
• Curfew
• Status offenses
• Emancipation
• Minot school’s web filter

The bylaws were approved by everyone present.  The action and the financial committee were created.  Cory appointed Johnathan McClure for Financial Consultant, and Billy Luetzen for Activities Consultant.  Both were approved.  Jason Gagnon was also appointed for Webmaster.

Next meeting was scheduled for Thursday, August 29, 2002 at 5:00 pm in the South Community room at the Minot City Library.

Cory adjourned the meeting at 4:45 pm.
